Gude Plaza

Property Overview

Ownership continues with the major renovation that began in early 2022.  In addition to a new retail façade for the stores facing East Gude Drive, construction of a five-story 95,000 square foot self-storage facility is now complete.

With  the self-storage facility buildout complete, Gude Plaza now consists of 35,000 square feet of retail, 20,000 square feet of light industrial, and 95,000 square feet of self-storage, for a property total of 150,000 square feet.

A rooftop solar panel installation was completed, with 377 bifacial 480v panels feeding to a net meter for the storage facility, which will offset  approximately 35% of the facility’s power requirements, with an estimated 240MWh of energy annually.

Gude Plaza consists of five buildings that include a mix of retail, neighborhood services and light industrial uses. The six-acre site includes surface parking.

Existing tenants include Rockville’s first NextGen Dunkin’, Allstate, Enterprise and the newly opened Storage Sense.
